How to Make Savory Roast Beef
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) to create a hot environment for the roast.
- Generously season your chuck or ribeye roast with kosher salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil until shimmering. Sear the roast on all sides until golden-brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a baking dish, arrange your chopped root vegetables around the roast. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
