How to Make Savory Korean BBQ Chicken
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together low-sodium soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a ziplock bag or bowl. Pour in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high (400°F) or preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  4. Grill each chicken breast for about 6-7 minutes on each side until they're charred and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Alternatively, bake for about 25 minutes.
  5. Let the chicken rest briefly before slicing. Drizzle any leftover marinade over the chicken, then garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
