  • 1 lb Lean ground turkey
  • 1 can Canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Kidney beans
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 1 medium Bell pepper, diced
Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Preparation
  1. Start by dicing the onion and bell pepper.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes, or until softened and fragrant.
  4. Add the ground turkey to the pot, breaking it apart as it cooks for about 7-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, cooking for 1 minute.
  6. Add the diced tomatoes and kidney beans, mixing everything well.
  7. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low, cover partially, and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
