- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
- Beat in the large egg until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are light golden brown.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing them from the oven.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
