Method
 

Steps to Cook
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté chopped chicken in a skillet over medium heat until browned (6–8 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Create the cheese sauce by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour, stirring for about two minutes until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  5. Melt the cheddar cheese and stir in garlic powder. Combine this sauce with the cooked macaroni and sautéed chicken.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with panko bread crumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
