Cooking Steps
  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the trimmed green beans to the boiling water and cook for about 3 minutes.
  3. Immediately transfer them to an ice bath to stop cooking and maintain that lovely crunch.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it’s bubbling.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for around 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  6. Toss the blanched green beans and toasted almonds into the skillet.
  7. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the mixture, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
