- Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a rolling boil.
- Add the trimmed green beans to the boiling water and cook for about 3 minutes.
- Immediately transfer them to an ice bath to stop cooking and maintain that lovely crunch.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it’s bubbling.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for around 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
- Toss the blanched green beans and toasted almonds into the skillet.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the mixture, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Give it a final toss before serving hot for the best flavor!
